The location is car-oriented; Lowell Regional Transit Authority buses serve the nearby Lowell area, and the MBTA Lowell Line commuter rail stops in adjacent Lowell.
The address is a suburban office building in an Apollo Drive office park; the Immigration Court occupies Suite 100.
This court was renamed from the Lowell Immigration Court to the Chelmsford Immigration Court in July 2024 to reflect its actual town. It serves the region within the First Circuit.
