The Building

The Ted Weiss Federal Building is a 34-story granite tower opened in 1994 (designed by HOK). Its site overlies the African Burial Ground National Monument, whose visitor center the building hosts; it also houses the IRS and EPA.

Opened in 2019 as a second Manhattan immigration court — separate from 26 Federal Plaza — this court sits within the Second Circuit.
