The court is on the 15th floor of the Ted Weiss Federal Building at 290 Broadway, in Lower Manhattan's Civic Center near Foley Square — on the block bounded by Broadway, Duane Street, Elk Street and Reade Street.
The Civic Center is served by the Chambers Street and City Hall subway stations near Foley Square, with the rest of Lower Manhattan transit close by.
The Ted Weiss Federal Building is a 34-story granite tower opened in 1994 (designed by HOK). Its site overlies the African Burial Ground National Monument, whose visitor center the building hosts; it also houses the IRS and EPA.
Opened in 2019 as a second Manhattan immigration court — separate from 26 Federal Plaza — this court sits within the Second Circuit.
