The court was in Room F-108 at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility, 4250 Federal Drive, in Batavia, New York, off Route 5 near Interstate 90 between Buffalo and Rochester, until EOIR closed it on July 24, 2026.
The location is car-oriented with limited public transit, reached by car via Interstate 90.
The court sat inside the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility (the Buffalo/Batavia Service Processing Center), a DHS-controlled detention facility; EOIR closed it because DHS could no longer provide space for court operations.
The Batavia court's pending cases now belong to the Buffalo Immigration Court, which hears them by video teleconference, within the Second Circuit.
