- What the result means: a master hearing is a short calendar hearing; an individual hearing is the merits hearing. “No case found for this A-Number” can mean the Notice to Appear has not been filed with the court yet. Your written hearing notice is the official source — if the two differ, call the Detroit Immigration Court at (313) 226-2603.
- Moved? File Form EOIR-33/IC with the court that has your case within five days (8 C.F.R. § 1003.15(d)(2)). A USCIS change of address does not update the court.

About the Detroit Immigration Court

The court is in Suite 440 of the Patrick V. McNamara Federal Building at 477 Michigan Avenue, on the western edge of downtown Detroit near Cass Avenue and Washington Boulevard.
The Detroit People Mover's Michigan Avenue station sits at the Michigan/Cass corner, and the QLine streetcar runs nearby on Woodward Avenue; SMART and DDOT buses serve downtown.
The Patrick V. McNamara Federal Building is a Brutalist concrete tower of about 27 floors, opened in 1976 to a design by Smith, Hinchman & Grylls and named for U.S. Senator Patrick V. McNamara; the Immigration Court occupies Suite 440.
Detroit is the seat of Wayne County and Michigan's largest city. Its immigration court serves the region within the Sixth Circuit.
