The court is on the 12th floor (Room 1237) of 26 Federal Plaza, in Lower Manhattan's Civic Center beside Foley Square. Per EOIR, visitors enter from Broadway at the center of the building, between Duane Street and Worth Street.
The Civic Center is served by the Chambers Street and Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall subway stations and the Canal Street stations a short walk away. The building has its own ZIP code (10278) and stands among the downtown federal and state courthouses.
26 Federal Plaza is the Jacob K. Javits Federal Building — at 41 stories and 587 feet, the tallest federal building in the United States. Designed by Alfred Easton Poor with Kahn & Jacobs, it opened in 1969 and also houses USCIS and other federal agencies.
Named for the longtime New York senator Jacob K. Javits, the building anchors the federal presence in Lower Manhattan. The court sits within the Second Circuit.
